Located in the United Arab Emirates, the Fujairah Circuit is a unique and challenging track that will test drivers’ driving skills with its sharp corners and long straights. With a length of over five kilometers this circuit offers very little opportunity for pilots to rest, requiring absolute concentration and technical mastery of the hull.
Francis Notschaele, originally from Belgium, quickly captured the attention of the nautical world with his extraordinary driving skills and his magnetic charisma, bringing himself to the international spotlight with a list of highly respected titles having achieved international victories.
Italian Roberto Lo Piano has earned the highest authority in the nautical world for his extraordinary piloting skills with boats equipped with over 800 horsepower and a speed at sea of over 200 km/h, winning victories and the adoration of fans everywhere the world.
With the Fujairah Grand Prix just around the corner, Notschaele and Lo Piano are preparing to face this challenge with the utmost determination and thanks to the support of the regularly trained Technical Team and its relentless work ethic, Francis and Roberto will be regularly at the start of the GranPrix certain of being able to compete against the best players in the world.
Everything is therefore ready for an exciting and unique Fujairah Grand Prix in the United Arab Emirates for a race to glory that has never been so exciting.
Francis Notschaele: I started in this sport back in 1993. Since then I had the chance to race in several offshore mono hull classes. After taking 3 worldtitles and european titles it was time to switch to catamaran boats in 2022. Now it is for me the second race in the exciting world of Xcat Worldchampionship. Very honored to team up with Roberto Lo Piano. But extremely happy also to present the first boat ever under Belgian flag.
Roberto Lo Piano: Every XCAT Championship start is full of emotions and the desire to win, certain that we have prepared the boat in the best way and we hope to be able to find that difference that will give us victory.
It promises to be a very interesting Championship where there will also be the return of the Swedish Victory Team with a new boat but the champions to beat will be the English who won the Championship last year. After the first race we will know who worked well and who still has to work to improve.
